Love is patient.
Yesterday was day one of the love dare. The dare for the day was to be patient, anyone who knows me well knows that I am not very patient. I did really well though. A specific part of the dare was to not say one negative thing to your spouce. Lately I feel like I have been quite naggy and so that was a little harder, but I DID IT! I did really well and I feel like he was happier, we had fun and laughed the whole night together. Interesting how just ME changing a little helped us both.
Today's dare is to continue to be patient and to do something unexpected and that shows you care for your spouce. I couldn't think of anything big to do so I plan on doing lot's of small things for him today. Like making him lunch and bringing it to him, and hopefully more opportunities arise for me to do more than that.
